The countdown to the Love Island final has officially begun, and readers have had their say on which couple they think should take the series 10 title and claim the £50,000 prize
With just hours to go until the Love Island 2023 winning couple is officially announced, we asked Mirror readers which pair they think should walk away with the £50,000 prize.
Competing for the top spot are couples Molly Marsh and Zach Noble, Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde, Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki and Jess Harding and Sammy Root. Maya Jama will host the grand final live from the villa tonight (July 31) at 9pm, and the pair with the most public votes will claim series 10 victory.
Betting site Coral has revealed the latest predictions for the winning couple ahead of the finale and Whitney and Lochan are favourites with odds at 1-2. In second place sits Ella and Tyrique with odds of 11-4, while Jess and Sammy can be backed at 4-1.
Molly and Zach were the betting favourites at the very start of the season, but their turbulent relationship has slashed their chances, with odds now at 25-1.
We asked Mirror readers which couple they think should win the ITV2 dating show - and the results are in. Around 1,000 people took part in our poll, and the majority of participants said Ella and Tyrique should take the crown, with the pair scooping 31% of votes.

Taking to the comments section, one fan penned: “Ella and Tye I would like to win it would be nice. It's actually been good to watch this year.” Viewers also showed their support on Twitter, as another watcher shared: "I want Ella and Ty to win Love Island. I feel like they act like a real couple already lol."
A third wrote: "I'd like Ty and Ella to win, but I'll still be happy when Whit & Loch win... I love both of them as people, but they are definitely not a real couple. No one can convince me Whitney is interested in him like that. The way she looks at him and her body language shows it."
Whitney and Lochan claimed second place in our poll, raking in 27% of votes, which comes as a surprise as the duo were previously named the viewers favourite pairing. Fans are still backing the couple on Twitter, as one person stated: “I really hope Whitney and Lochan win. They have been really steady and they seem to be such a good match.”
“Whitney and Lochan are the only couple that makes sense to win #loveisland. I have no doubt that Tyrique and Ella are deeply in love but their fights are so boring man. They’re also probably gonna get a lot of endorsement deals between them so the £50k won’t matter,” posted another.
In third place sits Jess and Sammy, who secured 18% of votes, and fans have showed their support for the pair on social media, with one person writing: “Rooting for Jess and Sammy on love island,” while a second said: “Hot take but I want Sammy and Jess to win.”
Others are convinced that Sammy is a ‘player’ and that is the reason why their chances of winning are slim. “I wish Sammy wasn’t such a player with Jess in the beginning because I really like him. Definitely top tier cast member,” wrote a viewer, while a second echoed: “Jess and Sammy should’ve been dumped. I think Sammy's a game player.”
Molly and Zach received the least amount of votes, with only 14% of readers opting for the couple. “Team Zach and Molly #Zolly for the win,” confessed one supporter, as a second shared: “I know they’re not the public’s faves so they won’t win but let’s be real here, Zach & Molly are really and truly the most compatible, they all say it in the villa and in unseen bits they look so happy together.”
Many have claimed that the ITV2 show will be ‘rigged’ if Zach and Molly are announced as the winners, as one person wrote: “If Molly and Zach win tomorrow the whole thing is rigged. Ty & Ella and Whit & Lochan are DEFO way more popular.”
Meanwhile, 10% of voters selected the option “None of them”, suggesting the final four are not deserving of taking the Love Island title.
