A street vendor reported a theft after forgetting a bag containing over 100,000 baht at her shop. Upon realising and returning, the bag was gone.

The incident occurred yesterday, March 31, at 3pm, according to 29 year old Jeeranan (surname withheld), who sells fried pork rice. She reported the theft to Police Lieutenant Suphat Hemachinda, an investigator at Bang Sue Police Station.

Jeeranan described setting up her stall near BTS Mo Chit and leaving around 11.30am to rest. She later realised she had left her bag at the shop and rushed back to find it missing.

Her bag, which contained the significant amount of cash, prompted her to file a complaint to seek police assistance in tracking down the thief responsible for the theft, reported KhaoSod.

Following the report, Police Colonel Sanong Saengmanee, the superintendent of Bang Sue Police Station, directed the investigative team to examine CCTV footage from the area. The aim is to swiftly locate and prosecute the suspect involved in the incident.

In similar news, a 38 year old woman was arrested for stealing valuables worth approximately 600,000 baht from a luxury home in Chon Buri.

The incident took place on March 25, when Police Colonel Somchai Thiwangsa, superintendent of Ban Bueng Police Station, instructed Deputy Superintendent Thanongsak Suwannawat to lead a team in apprehending the suspect, Naritsara. She was found asleep in a rented room in the Nong Phai Kaeo subdistrict.

During questioning, Naritsara admitted that financial struggles drove her to commit the crime. She had been aimlessly driving her Toyota Vios before parking along the Chao Por Suea-Thung Klet Route in Moo 5, Map Phai subdistrict.

She then walked through a cassava field, climbed a wall into a luxury residential area, and targeted a house with no visible vehicles. Naritsara deliberately avoided homes with many shoes outside, selecting one that appeared unoccupied.
